Individualized
courses of study
"My
problem was never that I didn't take the LSAT seriously. I couldn't
afford most of the courses out there, so I bought a book that
looked reliable and studied on my own. When I got my score back,
I was hysterical. I couldn't believe that I had done so poorly.
I called PowerScore the next day and set up some tutoring sessions.
I had only 1 month to study for the next LSAT. I worked one-on-one
with a trained professional that knew every game inside and
out. He broke down every part and explained each one step-by-step.
The previous book that I had purchased didn't even have the
most basic steps for LSAT preparation! My instructor made everything
easy to understand and really helped bring back the confidence
that I had lost after the first test. With only 1 month of preparation,
I increased my score by 9 points thanks to the people at PowerScore."

PowerScore one-on-one
LSAT tutoring gives students the opportunity to work face to face
with one of our highly qualified instructors. Our tutors are the same
people that teach our classes, and every tutor has scored in the 99th
percentile on an LSAC-administered LSAT. Aside from being highly-skilled
and experienced, every PowerScore tutor is trained and qualified to
teach any and all of our methods. Because
tutoring is the most efficient way to assess individual capabilities,
PowerScore private tutoring offers you the best chance to identify
and eliminate your LSAT weaknesses. Whether you need a personalized
course designed for you, or you just need to work on a few concepts,
we can create a tutoring experience that will address all of your
LSAT difficulties. Based
on your discussions and the information you provide, your tutor
can design a lesson plan based on your specific needs. Whether you
are having trouble with logic games, logical reasoning, or reading
comprehension, our instructors have mastered each of these sections
and can help you do the same. If you are not sure what your needs
are but know you must to improve your score, our instructors can
help you identify your LSAT strengths and weaknesses by going through
real LSATs or discussing pertinent concepts that will help them
identify the root causes of your LSAT troubles. Unlike other companies
who require you to follow a pre-set tutoring lesson plan that may
not fit your needs, our tutors will develop a plan tailored to your
needs in order to provide you with the most efficient path to scoring
well.
The majority
of tutoring is done with a variety of materials including our Logic
Games Bible, Logical Reasoning Bible, the PowerScore LSAT Weekend
Course Materials, the PowerScore Full Length Course Materials, and
real LSATs produced by LSAC. When you first speak with your tutor,
he or she will recommend materials that will provide you with the
most organized and productive plan to help you reach your goal.
In addition, all tutoring students are automatically granted access
to our Tutoring Student Online Area, which contains test scoring
and analysis capability, additional concept discussions, and general
test-taking tips. Tutoring packages of ten or more hours also include
the 600+ page PowerScore LSAT Weekend Course book, which is our
preferred tutoring material.
PowerScore offers
private LSAT tutoring at the rate of $150 per hour (even less for
multi-hour packages). By comparison, examine our competitors' rates
and you will see that our services are not only less expensive but
far superior in quality. And, unlike other companies, we do not
require you to purchase large amounts of tutoring up front. Whether
you need ten hours of tutoring or just one hour, we will be able
to accommodate your needs without difficulty.
Whenever you
are ready to get started, simply give us a call or purchase
hours online. Once we receive your tutoring request, we
will have an instructor contact you within two business days from
your initial request. During your preliminary conversation with
your tutor, you will discuss where to meet, when to meet, how long
to meet, what you would like to work on, and what materials will
be necessary to make the tutoring as effective as possible. After
speaking with the tutor assigned to you, if you feel like you and
the tutor do not mesh for any reason, we can arrange for another
tutor to work with you.
