16
hours of lecture on one weekend
A GRE score is typically
the single component that all graduate school applicants have in common.
It is considered to be a relatively accurate predictor of how you will perform
in graduate schools, and is a critical benchmark used to distinguish individuals
from their fellow applicants. In fact, at many school, the GRE is the primary
factor that determines not only your acceptance, but also what merit-based
grants, fellowships, assistantships, and financial aid you may be eligible
to receive. Serious preparation is about more than just a GRE score: it
is an investment in your future.
The Best Value- 16 lecture hours
for $395
- The
Weekend Course consists of sixteen lecture hours taught on the
Saturday and Sunday of a single weekend by one of our highly-trained
instructors. The cost of the 16-hour weekend is a very reasonable
$395. Given that some companies charge nearly $1000 for courses
with a similar number of lecture hours, this is an incredible
value.
- The
price includes pre-class study material, the complete weekend
course booklet (over 220 pages in length), access to our Email
Assistance Program, and a personal copy of GRE Practicing to
Take the General Test, 10th Edition, including over 1,000
actual GRE questions. No other company offers you so much for
such a low price.
- We
are the only GRE preparation company to offer a free, no-strings-attached
course repeat. You can take the same course again free of charge,
anytime within a year of your original enrollment!
Highly Qualified Instructors- all have scored in the 99th percentile
and are GRE experts
- The
GRE requires test takers to be proficient in a wide array of areas,
including advanced mathematics, reading comprehension, and analytical
writing. Our instructors have all scored in the 99th percentile
on a real GRE-proof that they fully understand each of these difficult
concepts. Since they don’t have to struggle to understand
the test itself, they can focus solely on teaching you how to
master the GRE in the same way that they did.
- Our
instructors are enthusiastic and truly enjoy teaching, and we
only hire instructors who can patiently and effectively explain
the ideas in our course—in a fun and exciting format.
Online
Student Center
- Prior to
the weekend course, you are given access to our Online Student
Center which contains a variety of valuable pre-course math and
verbal primers including the PowerScore Roots and Affixes Dictionary,
the Power Score GRE Lexicon (a compendium of key GRE words and
their definitions), and the PowerScore GRE Homograph Glossary.
You will also find general information about the GRE, plus links
to two Computer Adaptive Practice Tests.

Course Materials and homework plus access to our Online Student

Prior to the
course, registered students are given online access to math and verbal
primers including the PowerScore Roots and Affixes Dictionary™,
the PowerScore GRE Lexicon™ (a compendium of key GRE words and
their definitions), and the PowerScore GRE Homograph Glossary™.
- Sessions
are highly interactive as we closely review each of the scored sections
on the GRE. We will discuss everything from how to tackle the unusual
environment of a Computer Adaptive Test to the strategies most effective
in attacking every question type on the exam. This includes recognizing
and solving the major Verbal question types and structures, analyzing
Quantitative questions with the perfect combination of formulas and
logic, and constructing two critical, persuasive essays. After learning
such simple but effective techniques as the Numerical Approximation™,
your score should increase immediately. For the
full listing of topics, check out our Weekend
GRE Course Syllabus.
- Included
in the course is the publication “GRE Practicing to Take the General
Test, 10th Edition,” which includes over 1000 real GRE questions
from the makers of the test. Since concepts tend to repeat from test
to test, only by studying real questions can you gain the insight necessary
to attack the methods used by the test makers.
- Your preparation
continues well beyond the conclusion of the course: you will receive
a comprehensive set of homework problems, drills, and analyses to help
reinforce what you have learned.
Free
Email Assistance- for help with all of your questions after the
course
- After you
complete the course, our free Email Assistance program will help
you with any homework questions you may have. Just send us an
email with your questions and an instructor will get right back
to you, usually within a few hours.

*Current GRE scores consist primarily of two parts:
a Verbal score and a Quantitative score. These scores are intended
for interpretation independent of one another, and thus ETS does
not designate a combined total that would represent an overall 99th
percentile score. In order to meet our 99th percentile requirement,
PowerScore requires that all instructors score in the 99th percentile
on at least one of the two sections, with a minimum score of at
least 700 on the other section.
