Total Course Hours: These figures represent the total number of classroom lecture hours and practice test hours for each course. In some cities Kaplan or Princeton Review may offer other live course options with fewer or greater hours.

Live SAT Instructor Hotline: The PowerScore SAT Hotline is a unique service offered by PowerScore. All students are entitled to call in and discuss SAT problems and techniques with one of our instructors during the hours of the hotline. Kaplan and Princeton Review do not offer this same service.

Score Guarantee: We are so certain our classes can help you that we guarantee your score will increase. If your official College Board test results do not improve by at least 300 points, you have six months to take the course again for free. You simply have to submit your official scores, attend the entire course, and complete the required homework.

95th percentile instructors: All PowerScore instructors have taken an actual College Board-administered SAT and scored in the 95th percentile or higher. Kaplan and Princeton Review cannot make the same claim. And, at some other companies, instructor applicants are allowed to come to their offices to take a pre-hiring SAT. However, since these SATs are not administered by the College Board, and therefore do not produce national score percentiles, these companies have no national scoring standard.

Course Cost: The PowerScore SAT Course is offered at the same price throughout the country. Kaplan and Princeton Review course costs vary by city.
